1978 Rolex Submariner Mk3 1680 Box and Papers

OVERALL: Fresh to market vintage Submariner. Completely unmolested example; no relume, no refinished/recut case, no dial touchups. Dial and hands have aged beautifully with patina throughout. Full overhaul/service completed in August 2025; regulated to 2.2 sec/day and pressure tested to 5 bar.

• BRACELET: Excellent condition 93150 w/ 580 end links. 11 links and 'MA6' date code on clasp. Only slight stretch and crown on clasp is crisp and not worn down from polishing or wear.
• CASE: Great condition case with some signs of wear. Case remains very thick. Absolutely no pitting between the lugs; reference and serial numbers are crisp/visible. 
• BEZEL: Original insert in excellent condition. PIP has popped off. Bezel is in excellent condition with the "teeth" not polished or worn down.
• DIAL: Original Mk3 dial w/ beautiful matching patina on dial and hands. Original silver date disc. Brand new True Dome crystal. 
• BOX/PAPERS: Original box and papers dated September 1978 and sold in Rolex New York. Original booklets and hang tag (sticker has been peeled off). Service paperwork.
