1979 Rolex Air-King 'Pool Intairdril' Logo Dial 5500

OVERALL: 1979 Rolex Air-King with Pool Intairdril Oil Company logo dial. This watch came directly from the recipient's family as I acquired it from the daughter of the gentleman whose name is on the case back. Mr. Cienega worked directly on an offshore drill and received this watch as an award. The case back engravings are very cool which not all the Pool Intairdril award watches have. The engravings make this example even rarer. Watch is in great overall condition and was serviced a few years ago and has sat in a drawer since. Watch winds smoothly and runs great.

• BRACELET/STRAP: Brand new black calfskin strap.
• CASE: 34mm steel case with minor signs of wear. Case back has company award engravings which include 'SAFETY AWARD', recipient's name, and award date (9-8-82). There is a scratch on the case back as well. Serial and reference numbers clearly visible. No pitting on the case.
• BEZEL: Original smooth bezel in great condition for age with some signs of wear.
• DIAL: Original champagne sunburst dial with excellent Pool Intairdril logo. Original lume has aged to be dark on both the hands and dial with the hands having aged darker.
• BOX/PAPERS: N/A
