1971 Rolex Red Submariner Serviced 1680

OVERALL: 1971 Rolex Red Submariner that had a full movement service by Los Angeles Watchworks (LAWW) in February of this year (2021); passed pressure test and all gaskets swapped. Truedome crystal installed.

• BRACELET: 93150 w/ 580 end links / J date code (1985) / 11 links + divers extension. Very minor signs of wear; very little stretch.
• CASE: Case has no pitting and serial/reference numbers are clear. Case polished and partially recut by Rolliworks (no laser welding).
• BEZEL: Faded to dark grey. PIP intact and patina matches dial/hands.
• DIAL: Original Mk4 dial with cream patina. There is a chip at the edge of the dial between the 21 and 22 minute marks as well as a small chip in the lower right-hand of the date window. Both are very hard to notice with the naked eye. There were a couple other chips on the edge of the dial (somewhat common on these) that was professionally repaired. Correct silver date disc. Hands color-matched by Rolliworks.
